New National Championship Connects Canadian Junior Golfers to the Faldo Series Global Pathway

The NXXT Faldo Canadian Championship, presented by JPT, links Canada's top junior golfers to the NXXT Faldo North American Championship in Florida and the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final in Vietnam

FLORIDA/Toronto, May 2026 - NXXT Golf, the Official North American Partner of the Faldo Series, and the Junior Players Tour today announced the NXXT Faldo Canadian Championship, presented by JPT - a 54-hole national championship for junior boys and girls, set for October 10-12, 2026, at Rebel Creek Golf Club in Ontario.

Open to Canadian junior golfers from across the country, the championship establishes Canada as a cornerstone of the NXXT Faldo North American pathway. As the premier Canadian event on that pathway, it carries elevated stakes: the top two finishers in each age division earn a direct exemption into the NXXT Faldo North American Championship, the 180-player season-ending championship at Streamsong Resort in Florida, December 28-30, 2026.

From there, the pathway reaches the world stage. Division champions at the North American Championship advance to the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, held at the Sir Nick Faldo Signature course at Laguna Golf Lang Co, Vietnam, where elite juniors from more than 45 countries compete for global recognition. It is one connected route - from a national championship in Canada, to North America, to the world.

The championship will be operated in collaboration with JPT, with registration available through both the NXXT and JPT platforms and tournament operations supported by JPT's event infrastructure.

Beyond the championship exemptions, play at Rebel Creek counts toward the 2026 NXXT Faldo Player of the Year standings, a season-long race that offers an additional route into the North American Championship and concludes with the GolfJoy Player of the Year Award.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Faldo Charitable Foundation, in keeping with the Faldo Series' longstanding mission of creating access and opportunity through junior golf.

The NXXT Faldo Junior Tour is the Official North American Tour of the Faldo Series, founded by six-time major champion Sir Nick Faldo in 1996 and responsible for developing more than 70 professional tour players, including major champions Rory McIlroy, Danny Willett, and Yani Tseng.
