NXXT Golf Names Tom Bevington Director, Tour Operations
Former tour professional and tournament founder joins NXXT's leadership team to oversee event delivery across three tours and lead the 2027 launch of the NXXT Battle League
Orlando, FL, October 16, 2026 – NXXT Golf, operator of North America's only vertically integrated competitive golf platform spanning junior, women's and co-ed professional golf, today named former tour professional Tom Bevington Director, Tour Operations.
The appointment comes as NXXT enters the strongest stretch in its history. Junior fields across Florida are sold out with waitlists, the NXXT Faldo Junior Tour opened its fall schedule with 78 players from 22 countries, and December's NXXT Faldo North American Championship at Streamsong Resort will host 120 of the world's top junior players. Expansion into additional US states begins in the new year.
Bevington arrives with a résumé built on both sides of the ropes. Raised in England, he moved to the United States at 18 on a golf scholarship to Western Kentucky University, where he played five seasons of NCAA Division I golf and was named WKU Male Scholar Athlete of the Year. He then competed professionally for five seasons, holding membership on PGA Tour Latinoamérica, the HotelPlanner Tour and the Clutch Pro Tour.
In 2025 he turned from competing to building. He founded Atlantic Golf and created the European Challenge Qualifier, a first-of-its-kind pathway giving US-based professionals a direct route to playing opportunities in Europe, and took it from concept to a fully delivered event in its first year. He is an R&A Level 1 Rules Official and a PGA of America Associate.
At NXXT, Bevington will oversee event delivery across the NXXT Faldo Junior Tour, the NXXT Women's Pro Tour and the NXXT Battle Tour, and lead venue development, partnerships and player recruitment as the platform expands beyond Florida. He will also lead the launch of the NXXT Battle League, a city-based team competition in which male and female professionals compete on one leaderboard for one title, scheduled for 2027.
