Player of the Year - how it works
The NXXT Faldo Junior Tour Player of the Year race runs the full season, from the opening event through the North American Championship at Streamsong Resort in December. Every point counts.
Points by finishing position
How standings work
Points standings are tracked within each division - Boys 16-19, Boys 12-15, Girls 16-19, and Girls 12-15 - so you can follow the race in your own age group throughout the season.
The year-end Player of the Year award is determined by the highest cumulative points total across all boys and all girls, regardless of age division. The top male and top female points leader each take home the award.
Eligibility
Withdrawal (WD) or disqualification (DQ) at any event results in 0 points for that event. Tied finishing positions share the combined points equally, rounded to the nearest whole number.
Tiebreaker
If two players finish level on points at season's end, the tiebreaker is: most wins, then most runner-up finishes, then head-to-head record across shared events.
Year-end award
The NXXT Faldo Junior Tour Player of the Year is presented at season's end to the top male and top female points leaders. Each recipient receives a GolfJoy Spica 3 Launch Monitor - a professional-grade performance tool for serious competitors.
Points standings update following each official tour event. The NXXT Faldo North American Championship at Streamsong Resort counts toward POY standings.
