Four Champions. Four Continents. NXXT Faldo Championship at Stoneybrook West

78 players. 22 countries. Four division champions from four continents. A closing 63. Four invitations to Streamsong. The NXXT Faldo fall season opened with a championship that showcased the international scale and competitive pathway the tour is building.

WINTER GARDEN, FL — September 28, 2026

The NXXT Faldo Junior Tour opened the fall swing of its 2026–27 season at Stoneybrook West Golf Club with 78 players representing 22 countries across six continents. Across three days, the field produced four division champions, meaningful ranking opportunities, a direct pathway to the North American Championship at Streamsong Resort and one of the most memorable closing rounds of the week.

The championship reflected the level NXXT Golf is working to build across the junior pathway: international fields, strong competitive depth, measurable ranking value and opportunities that extend beyond a single tournament.

Four Champions. Four Continents.

All four 36-hole leaders converted their advantage on Monday, with champions from Canada, Kenya, Hong Kong, China and Switzerland. The four titles were decided by disciplined closing rounds rather than late leaderboard swings.

Boys 16–19 — Oscar Ricketts, Canada. Ricketts shared the opening-round lead with a 70, then closed with consecutive 67s to finish at 204 (−12), two shots clear of Andrew Kim. Ryo Arakawa of Japan finished third at −9.

Boys 12–15 — Aidan Gachora, Kenya. Gachora opened with a 66 and led from start to finish, closing at 204 (−12). Salem Al Abdallat of Jordan finished runner-up at −10, with Ethan Press of the United States third.

Girls 16–19 — Kate Liang, Hong Kong, China. Liang opened with the division’s low round, a 67, and never gave up the lead. She finished at 212 (−4), the only player in the division under par. Mei Murata of Japan was second at even par and Colomba Vassallo Tuset of Chile finished third at +1.

Girls 12–15 — Amy Grace Blattmann, Switzerland. Blattmann followed an opening 75 with a second-round 73 and closed with 75 to win at 223 (+7), two shots ahead of Mykayla Dick of the United States.

Round of the Week: Salem Al Abdallat Fires 63

Salem Al Abdallat — Round of the Week, final-round 63

Seven shots back through 36 holes, Salem Al Abdallat of Amman, Jordan produced the lowest round across all four divisions on the final day. His nine-under-par 63 included two eagles and moved him into solo second in Boys 12–15 at 206 (−10). The 63 was the defining individual round of the championship.

Road to Streamsong: Four Invitations Awarded

Stoneybrook West awarded four invitations to the NXXT Faldo North American Championship at Streamsong Resort, December 29–31, 2026. Aidan Gachora and Amy Grace Blattmann earned their places with division victories. Andrew Kim and Colomba Vassallo Tuset received the Boys 16–19 and Girls 16–19 invitations as the next eligible finishers after Oscar Ricketts and Kate Liang, respectively, had already secured their championship places earlier in the season.

At Streamsong, division champions will earn the opportunity to advance to the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final in Vietnam in April 2027 — extending the NXXT Faldo pathway from North American competition to a global championship stage.

Ranking Value Beyond the Leaderboard

The Boys and Girls 16–19 competitions at Stoneybrook West were WAGR-rated, while the championship also carried Junior Golf Scoreboard recognition. Eligible results contribute to the GOLFJOY Player of the Year race, giving players another season-long measure of performance beyond an individual finish.

At season’s end, the top boy and top girl in the GOLFJOY Player of the Year standings each receive a GOLFJOY Spica 3 launch monitor valued at $5,000. The year-end top girl also earns a Rolex-ranked China Ladies PGA Tour start in China.

What’s Next: The Fall Schedule Continues

NXXT Faldo remaining 2026 fall schedule

The season moves quickly from Stoneybrook West. IMG Golf Club is full and operating on a waitlist, while places remain across the Canadian Championship at Rebel Creek and upcoming Florida events at Bobby Jones, Santa Lucia and Lake Jovita. The NXXT Faldo IMG Academy Florida Challenge follows December 11–13 before the North American Championship closes the calendar year at Streamsong.

The NXXT Faldo Journey

The fall season also continues off the scorecard through the NXXT Faldo Journey, presented by Dormie Network. The merit-selected program recognizes the family story behind the golf — the travel, commitment, sacrifices and moments that define a junior season. One eligible family will receive a one-year Dormie Network membership valued at approximately $20,000, presented in the player’s name. Entries close December 7.
